Treatment room fees

Starting September 1,2023, we will be introducing a nominal Treatment Room Fee for certain procedures and services conducted within our practice. We understand that this change might raise questions, and we would like to provide you with the reasoning behind this decision.

Our primary goal at Quakers Hill Family Practice has always been to provide the highest quality of care and a comprehensive range of services to our valued patients. As part of our ongoing commitment to excellence, we have continuously invested in state-of-the-art facilities, equipment, and staff training to ensure that you receive the best possible medical attention.

The introduction of the Treatment Room Fee will help us maintain the exceptional standards that you have come to expect from Quakers Hill Family Practice. Here are some key reasons for this change:

1. Resource Allocation: Our practice faces overhead costs associated with maintaining and operating our treatment rooms, including utilities, medical supplies, and regular maintenance. For over 10 years, the management has absorbed the costs associated with running the treatment room. Unfortunately, due to rising cost, we can no longer afford to continue funding the treatment room in this manner. The Treatment Room Fee will contribute to covering these essential expenses.

2. Sustainability: The revenue generated through the Treatment Room Fee will play a crucial role in ensuring the long-term sustainability of Quakers Hill Family Practice’s treatment room. This will allow us to continue providing you with exceptional care and maintaining the high standards you deserve.

3. Staff retention: We pride ourselves in having excellent practice nurses whose skills, expertise, and contributions significantly impact Quakers Hill Family Practice’s patient outcomes, operational efficiency, and overall patient satisfaction. The introduction of the Treatment Room Fee will allow us to allocate our financial resources in retaining these crucial members of our team.
